I would have to rate this restaurant as my worst lunch experience of 2010. As a first time diner at a new restaurant, I like to observe the decor, ambiance, flow of service and quality of food. When the server approached the table, she greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine "welcome". How a server greets the table, almost sets the mood for the rest of the meal. She projected a fun and positive energy and I loved it! I asked her to recommend a few items on the menu that were her favorites. She picked two items from each category and quickly gave a brief explanation of why she liked it. I took her advise and ordered the turkey burger and my guest ordered the shrimp po'boy sandwich. Our food hit the table relatively quickly, which pleased me because I was starving and ready to enjoy. Unfortunately, my first bite had me chewing, and chewing, and chewing. The meat was dry and flavorless. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce which I ignorantly thought would help, but it didn't. I flagged down the server and asked if I could order the same sandwich my guest had (which he was enjoying). She gladly took my plate away and apologized for the inconvenience. So, there I sat, without any food for 25 minutes till my new sandwich came. I figured since it took forever, it just meant they put a lot of TLC into it so I would be more than satisfied. Unfortunately, they failed even worse this time, my sandwich was cold and so were the fries. Sigh, here I am hungry as can be with two dishes ordered and inedible. I asked to speak to a manager, who seemed apathetic to my situation. She asked if I wanted anything else and I looked at her and violently shook my head "NO!". She had an opportunity to find out what went wrong but didn't even look interested enough to ask about details, she approached the table saying "what's up?"and just walked away with my plate. To make matters worse, she didn't take the item off the bill right away, I had to ask for it to be removed.

I will never come back, even if I won a free dinner. YUK.
